AWOL Futurity Race Series Rules for Handlers

  1. The AWOL club shall only accept birds directly from the breeeder, it shall not accept birds from a handler on behalf of a breeder. No Exceptions!!!
  2. Handlers cannot fly their own birds
  3. Handler's have 2 days (after being notified of the bird's arrival) in which to pick up their birds from the AWOL clubhouse. After that, a fee of $1.00 per bird / per day shall be levied.
  4. There are two manditory training races, Delano and Tulare
        A) Shipping of AWOL Futurity birds is free for these training races
        B) At the Delano shipping, handler's shall receive $2.50 per bird “shipped” to reimburse them for the cost of electronic bands.
  5. Handler must register their AWOL race birds and ebands into their electronic clock, with the AWOL Race Secretary, by August 31st, 2008.
        A) A late fee of $0.35 per bird will be levied on every bird registered after August 31st.
        B) Minimum late fee is $10.00
  6. All handlers must use AWOL Futurity approved electronic clocks
  7. All handlers must bring their clocks to knock off even if they did not clock a bird
  8. AWOL Race Committee will survey each handler's loft location by GPS Unit
