AWOL Futurity Race Series Rules for Breeders

  1. Payment is due in full when birds are shipped
        $225 per bird
        $900 for 5 birds (No rotation birds you decide who handles all your birds)
        Make Checks payable to: AWOL Racing Pigeons
  2. All birds must be shipped directly to:
        AWOL Club House
        8681 Lola Ave.
        Stanton, CA 90680
  3. Birds only accepted between February 1st and June 1st
  4. No entry or replacement bird accepted after it has dropped its first flight
  5. All birds vaccinated for PMV upon arrival
  6. Handlers cannot fly their own birds
  7. 85% of entry fees will be paid out in capital prizes
  8. 15% of entry fees will be held back by race committee
  9. Capital Prize Split for each series race (Represents 89% of Capital Prizes): 70% Breeder / 30% Handler
  10. Average Speed Split (Represents 11% of Capital Prizes): 50% Breeder / 50% Handler

  12. Pooling & Calcutta available for all three races, 15% held back for race committee
  13. If for any reason, any capital prize is left "unclaimed" after a race is closed, that prize shall be shared equally by all "claimed" prize winners in that race.
  14. All Capital Prize funds and pool winnings, will be mailed out after the race series has ended. You will receive a single payment which consolidates all prizes and pools payouts. This check will be mailed by priority mail with delivery conformation back to the AWOL race committee. Should you lose or misplace your check, we will re-issue the check minus our stop-payment fee from the bank (on the original check) and minus any additional priority mail costs.
      "Roll'em Option": You may designate any capital prize or pool winnings from an earlier race be applied towards any pools you may wish to make in later races in the series races. You will need to send that request in writing with the new pool sheets.
  15. Breeder may activate their AWOL Futurity Entry for the Orange Belt Futurity for $25.00 at time of shipping. The Orange Belt Futurity is flown on the same date as our second futurity race (350 miles) so your birds will be going to this race station for both the AWOL Futurity and if you so desire the Orange Belt Futurity as well!
  16. Orange Belt Futurity entries ($25.00 per bird entered) must be paid for with a seperate check made out to the "Orange Belt Futurity". The AWOL Futurity does not handle the funds for the Orange Belt Futurity and their entry fees must be paid by seperate check.
